Gesture-operating remote control
This is a prototype of an in-vehicle control device that can be used to control communication devices and networked home appliances outside the vehicle with simple finger gestures. The user's bodily movements are determined from the electrical current in the fingers and from inertial sensors, and are used for remote control. As an interface protocol, this gesture-based control is a better way for users to express their feelings, and could lead to interactive applications that bring the user closer to his / her vehicle. The aim is to create a future in which the user is seamlessly connected to his / her vehicle and home.
