Z-Tech is a distinctive design that represents a breakthrough in tug technology, offering a noteworthy improvement in performance and safety, and incorporating the best of traditional tractors and pusher tugs. By 2007, there will be at least 18 Z-Tech tugs operating in various parts of the world such as the US, Singapore and Australia. A low sheer forward makes for a clear working deck and good visibility from the wheelhouse for enhanced safety. Being environment friendly, Z-Tech is constructed with non-asbestos materials. Most importantly, while most traditional tugs operate in one direction only, Z-Tech enhances operational efficiency by having almost equal bollard pull in both forward and astern.
