The particular challenge for the development of the ZDF app was to create a design, which brings the ZDF world on smart devices. Therefore, we have designed, conceptualized and developed a complete ZDF universe, which is permanently available for smartphones, tablets and all TV boxes. The ZDF Apple TV App design takes a special place in this universe, because our Apple TV task force thought of every possible features, the user would love to use while watching on the big TV screen. And that makes the UX as easy as possible. The app was installed before the Apple TV Box launch in 2015 and was mentioned as one of the best apps in Tim Cook's keynote.
