The ZDFmediathek is one of the most extensive IPTV-offers in Europe. Presently the convergence of web, mobile and IPTV is of a unique kind. The usability of every single frontend is adapted consequently to the input device and the user scenario (remote control, keyboard, mobile phone). The look and feel and the brand of the ZDF persists across all distribution channels. The connection to the digital workflow of the ZDF enables the filling of the channels without additional work. The coding of the several offers is based on established standards of the IP-platform (like XHTML, Javascript, Flash) to be independent of proprietary platforms.
