A book for children to help them playfully learn about local birds and their voices. It is illustrated with colorful patterns that become even more vivid with overlaid drawings on transparent paper. The illustrations include custom-designed phonetic transcriptions of the bird songs. These transcriptions invite the children to actively participate in this learning process. Together with a whistle and an Audio CD that come with the book, the transcriptions allow to imitate the voices of birds. “Zizibe” is a book that plays with abstract and realistic elements and helps to enhance learning and understanding.
