Like its 26 forerunners, this annual report too provides an artistic take on the topic of light, a message that the Zumtobel Group sees itself as more than just a lighting manufacturer. Sagmeister & Walsh created a concept developing graphics and content around the theme of light and shadow. The annual report’s visual language combines typographic play with an exploration of light, shadow and the gradients between them. The A3-sized book is accompanied by 20 portrait-format A4 prints presenting typographic phrases. The report comes in two editions. Both the standard and the limited edition are wrapped with bands that form the letter "Z".
