The bottle is a minimalist, straight, round shape. The label is designed like newspaper print, inspired by a childhood memory. In the 1980s, newspaper was used to wrap snacks and condiments, a time when food was not always available and very precious. The newspaper-wrapped bottle builds up a natural emotional connection with consumers as it reminds them of old times and associates with premium quality. The layout is inspired by old Chinese street shop signs, the characters laid out in a straight vertical line to convey that the brand is authentic and straightforward. The back of the bottle shows scale marks of a retro Chinese steelyard.
