Shift to Blended Learning
In the Philippines, the schools transferred from the traditional or in-person modality to blended learning. ASKI School experienced difficulty in adapting to the new normal learning modality because most of the students do not have the appropriate gadget and internet connection for online learning. Despite these challenges, the school was able to tap its donors to provide for the smartphones for the students and adapt a learning continuity plan approved by the Ministry of Education. The teachers developed video and printed materials for the students. Home visits are conducted to track progress among students.
