Design Statement

Buddy was built in response to an increasingly screen-dominated lifestyle with a mission to redefine how light restores presence and mindfulness in daily life. Through a tactile winding-key interface and science-backed colored lighting, Buddy invites play while supporting rest and focus. As AI continues to shape how we live and work, I believe there is equal importance in designing objects that slow us down - tools that feel intentional, human, and grounding.
