Design Statement

"The future illiterate will not be the one who does not know how to write, but the one who does not know how to photograph". With this sentence, Moholy-Nagy designer, photographer and Bauhaus professor anticipated the importance of “visual education" would have as a necessary skill for the communication of the new generations. We believe photography can be used as a conscious language to reveal feelings and emotions, to raise questions, share ideas, name injustices and provoke changes.

ABOUT US

The NGO Projeto UERÊ, today serves 270 children and is internationally recognized.

Designers Angela Carvalho and Luciana Martha created the didactics of VOICI!

Art is an important part of Uerê- Mello pedagogy.
