Gülay Hasdoğan

Middle East Technical UniversityAnkara, Türkiye

Gülay Hasdoğan is head of the Department of Industrial Design at the Middle East Technical University (METU), where she is also a professor. She holds a BA in Industrial Design (1985) and an MSc in Building Science from METU, as well as a PhD from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design, London. As an executive committee member of Design Turkey Industrial Design Awards, she coordinated both the development and the evaluation process of the award scheme. She is a founding member of the Industrial Designers Society of Turkey (ETMK) and served as the society’s president for six years.
