Kazuo Tanaka

GK Design Group Inc.Tokyo, Japan

Kazuo Tanaka (*1956), born in Tokyo, is the Senior Advisor of GK Design Group Inc., Tokyo/Japan. First founded in Japan in 1952, the company currently provides a very wide range of design services – from industrial design to architecture and environmental design and right on up to graphic design. In addition, Tanaka heads the “Japan Institute of Design Promotion” and is a board member of the “Japan Industrial Designers’ Association”. Tanaka is a graduate of the Tokyo University of the Arts: he earned a degree in industrial design there in 1981.
