Stroke rehabilitation game

Studies also show that the incidence of stroke is increasing among young adults. This new rehabilitation tool called Animo is designed to speed the recovery of such patients. Animo is an interactive physical rehabilitation game supported by a training app. The AR assistance helps the patient to self-regulate movement. The patient can compare their results after each session to gain insight on how to improve.

JURY STATEMENT

Animo is an interactive physical rehabilitation game supported by a training app. It aims to rehabilitate young stroke patients in their home environment. It stands out with its flat design that shapes the game with a simple, two-dimensional look and bright colors. Furthermore, the physical and digital relations between the game and the app has strong integrity. Animo successfully stimulates a calm, smooth, fun experience during the rehabilitation of young stroke patients.

WINNER STATEMENT

I was delighted to receive the announcement by email, and I do have to confess that I needed to read it twice to understand that I had been chosen as one of the winners of the iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD. Very happy that this topic (which is close to my heart) will gain some more attention. Thank you for making this possible. It is a great honor!
