Stiftung Bamberger Symphoniker

„bam is back“ celebrates the return of the Bamberg Symphonics after the involuntary break due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Dust settled in the concert hall of Bamberg, symbolizing the standstill of the cultural industry. For the reopening, we turned this dust into a symbol for the new beginning – by making it dance to the new season's first musical piece. Therefore, we developed a special choreography, which we visualized using real dust shot on location and animated VFX dust: showing that even out of forced silence, something beautiful can emerge.
