CAKE Kalk Off Road Production Series

Electric motorcycle

CAKE ZeroEmission AB

The Swedish company CAKE has built a reputation for developing excellent light electric off-road motorbikes. The new Kalk OR model applies the company's innovation standards to a high-performance bike. Everything was developed from scratch, involving multiple new patents. Built for light off-road performance, KALK uses an industrial standard IPM motor, customized for CAKE and made in Europe. To maximize simplicity in terms of riding as well as maintenance, the bike was stripped down to 67 kilos, nearly half the weight of equivalent combustion-engine motorbikes, using a single pivot direct drive, reducing the number of heavy and moving parts. With no clutch or gear change, and three riding modes, this bike is silent and clean, ensuring minimal interference with nature. All in all, more Patagonia than Kawasaki!
