www.caliboor.com is the online portfolio of the Munich-based designer Jan Schlösser. The aim was to create a web presence that entertains the user and conveys the relevant content in a fun way. The web page is broken down into five main areas, each fronted by a different figure. Each of these mostly animal characters presents the content of the respective area in a humorous way by means of an interactive Flash cartoon. The clips use a mixture of classic 2D animation and occasional 3D elements. Special value was placed on showing the various disciplines in classic 2D animation (e.g. lip synchronisation, water animation etc.).
