Sustainable Façade

Hankuk Carbon's Composites R&D Center, in Seoul’s R&D industrial complex in Korea, is dedicated to advanced materials with excellent properties, and its design sets it apart from conventional R&D facilities. Inspired by the weaving process of the company's primary product, fabric, the façade reflects this concept. Resembling fibers from a bobbin, woven into firm fabric, its panels intersect as they descend into a lightweight, symbolic thin canopy. The façade offers insulation, sustainability, and flexibility, shaping 3D curves that boost functionality and aesthetics. This approach meets the practical needs and advances architectural culture.
