Smart co-living concept

Co-living in small apartments has become a growing phenomenon, especially in densely populated cities like Hong Kong. However, space is often used inefficiently in a typical co-living setting. The solution is to convert spaces between private and common zones. The design is a co-living apartment where private rooms can be customized to the needs of each individual and connected to the common area when necessary. If the tenant is open to social activity, part of the private room can be rotated and combined with the territory of the hub. If private space is needed, the room can be rotated and detached from the hub, closing it off to the rest.

JURY STATEMENT

This co-living apartment project inspired by the 'growing phenomenon' of co-living in cities like Hong Kong is based on the idea of customizing space and still creating a connection with a shared area. That is why it includes both private and common areas and employs a design solution that uses the potential of space with efficiency and playfulness.

WINNER STATEMENT

We believe our dreams will finally come true, as imagined.
