Sindang-dong Jung-ang Market, where the site belongs, is a large market extending to Dongdaemun, an important place in traditional market history. It's a bustling hub with vibrant activity, where people come and go. The street itself serves as a plaza. The street is predominantly lined with two-story buildings over 30 years old, occasionally interspersed with four-story buildings of similar age. Given this context, Corn-row House proposes utilizing existing building spaces for new content. This approach aims to highlight established shops with unique features, turning them into sought-after destinations in the old city.
