With the DB HerthaHelden App football fans can vote for their hero of the day, select a Dream Team and get live statistics and aggregated news. The design challenge: how to combine the corporate identities of Deutsche Bahn and Hertha? By creating a look of its own kind that is based on the almost mystical atmosphere of a floodlit match and thus enters the pictorial world of dark cult comics. The Deutsche Bahn remains in the background, only a few red elements refer to the origin. In black, large-scale, with selectively implemented animations and clean lines the app concentrates on the essentials: the players and the usability.
