Charging station

Nowadays, electric yachts are more and more popular among consumers. But there still isn't sufficient charging infrastructure for a range of journeys. The E-HARBOUR water charging station provides an adequate clean energy supply for various electric vessels. The modular design can be used in individual floating islands or clusters in coastal communities. A self-sailing power bank with a solar power station could also be used to distribute power further out to sea.

JURY STATEMENT

The E-HARBOUR charging station is a well-designed solution for sustainable energy supply on water. With more and more people buying boats, this solution makes it much more viable to choose a clean, electric alternative. The clever modular system provides flexibility that makes this design suitable for different purposes and areas. An alluring form and use of materials combined with multifunctionality make for a very attractive and convincing design.

WINNER STATEMENT

I am so excited to receive this honor, and also thank the teachers from HGK and the project partners who supported me. This is also a project I completed alone during my exchange semester in Switzerland. I hope that a company can implement this concept and put it into use.
