Egg refrigerator
Device for storing eggs
In the underdeveloped regions of Southeast Asia, some farmers rely on hens laying eggs to make a living. However, in the hot and humid summer season, bacteria reproduce very quickly in the eggs. Many farmers cannot afford a refrigerator, and the eggs are easily spoiled and damaged, causing food waste and economic losses. The egg refrigerator uses physical knowledge to "evaporate and absorb heat" for cooling. It does not require electricity, and its shell is made of rice husk. This material is very common in rural areas and is also very environmentally friendly. Egg refrigerators can help poor farmers store eggs for a longer time.
A great idea and a deft solution to a very practical problem.
