Glassfibre concrete with TiO2

Rieder has developed a new innovation in the concrete skin product line called “albus white”. This world first cladding panel, has TiO2 in the concrete matrix which uses the energy of the sun to help the cladding keep clean and to reduce pollution in the air. The TiO2 reacts with sunshine to breakdown elements of pollution through a photocatalytic process. Especially white and light coloured surfaces benefit from the panel’s self-cleaning performance, because costs for maintenance and cleaning are brought down. The use of these new “albus white” panels minimizes the impact of air pollution on our environment.
