Fluid Rhythms
Parent-Child co-learning space
Chritsy Hsieh
This case is a complex parent-child learning space that redefines the learning place with the concept of "fluid rhythm". The design takes "fluidity of space", "rhythm of light and material", and "sympathetic living space" as the main design concepts, and no longer divides the space by fixed blocks or clear functions, but establishes rhythms between "openness and encompassing", "visibility and anonymity", and "movement and stay". The space is designed to encourage dialogue and interaction through the use of flexible curves and the flow of light, so that learning can be transformed from "teaching" to "feeling".
