Form 2006 highlights Peter Schmidts new approach to design back to basics. Unmistakably inspired by squares and circles, hes combined these two basic geometric shapes to create designs that clash comfortably together in fascinating harmony. Round plates with square centres, cups with angular handles, square dishes, round bowls and oval trays its all there and being ever mindful that design should go hand-in-hand with multi-functionality, the plates for example can be used as trays on which small bowls for snacks, dips or side dishes can be placed. Form 2006 has also been applied to storage solutions with two of the square bowls being available with matching lids in a choice of four colours.
