Mo-So

Bone china

This is a degree project completed in cooperation with the Porsche Design Studio / Zell am See. Mo-So is a fine bone china for every day, Mo-So stands for Monday through Sunday. The sleek soft shape of the plates, bowls and cups are developed from the production technology. The formal concept is made visible. Hollowness and stack ability determine the shape. The edge is hollow and thin-walled; the bottom is flimsy and thereby translucent. The form is voluminous, but in your hand it is lightweight. The design lays in the sophistication of the shape. The jury: wonderful, pure design.
