Mobilizing Communities With the Power of Bicycles

Specially Designed Bicycle for Rural Areas

The problem of mobility in rural parts of the developing world is that no bicycle delivers on the promise of reliable and affordable transportation. Over the life of the bicycle, that initial purchase price is dwarfed by the cost of keeping it in service. Our bicycle mobility solution is for men and women in rural areas, often living on less than $1/day for rough roads and heavy loads. Our design is capable of surviving in harsh environments with limited access to service and spares. The performance of our bike includes versatility of use (heavy loads, adults, children), affordability, durability, ease of repair, cost of spare parts.
