Cantonese is a dialect spoken in southern China. It is a simple and direct language, usually requiring just a few words to vividly express what you want to say. The subculture in Hong Kong-based newspapers and magazines makes the articles more interesting, and the onomatopoeia contained in violent comic books tends to be more impressive than the mere meaning of the words. In order to express the feeling of fighting more powerfully and dynamically, the servants usually use paronyms, i.e. simple words to present the menu. And a pet phrase reveals a person’s personality and attitude completely.
