Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing Machine
The WEBAM 100 (Wire Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing) is an electron beam system for additive and industrial manufacturing of large metal components. It represents a new generation of machines from the pro-beam Group. Two functional units form the core of the system. A Process unit/vacuum chamber B Supply unit/powercube. The welding process takes place in the vacuum chamber by melting a metal wire. This prevents material interference by atmospheric gases, a prerequisite of the electron beam process. Using this process, components can be manufactured quickly and economically. The design reflects this high-tech process.
