Home furniture

960 x 920 x 870 mm. A structure in flexed wooden slats attached to each other, creating a solid wooden grid. The feet are manufactured in turned wood. This lounge chair was created in line with the cocooning trend, that is, at times of crisis and financial instability, people tend to seek sensations of welcoming, coziness and comfort. And that is what we present here. A piece that envelops users without suffocating them, employing lightness and the sinuosity formed by the curved wooden slats and using the concept to once again assist environmental preservation by requiring less raw material in the construction of the lounge chair.

JURY STATEMENT

Design in Brazil - selected by Angela Carvalho Lightness and transparency are the main characteristics of this design. The perception of size and weight of the chair is visually minimized by a net of wooden slats.
