PhilipsThis children’s hospital was looking to expand its radiology department while redefining care delivery and enhancing education and experience for children, families, and staff. Philips Healthcare developed an 'emotional seismograph' to identify high points and pain points throughout the patient journey. This provided clear definition of opportunity areas for an improved service delivery. The design team translated this knowledge into spatial design solutions. Experience enhancement tools for audio and visual distraction as well as calming therapeutic features were included throughout the entire journey.
