Stamp for World Animal Day

A stamp in honor of World Animal Day – a study project. “I’ll take 150g of mince and 5 slices of pig snout sausage, and then some finely ground liver sausage and to top it off” (I’m feeling generous today) “the meat salad.” “Anything else, Ma’am?” I think for a minute, then shrug my shoulders, “No thanks”, even if what’s on offer is smiling at me in such an enticingly red kind of way. I could never slaughter an animal, yet I reduce a living creature to brain and egg, fried liver or a dandy meatloaf and in the process turn myself into a member of the Inqui-sition. This idea then hits the nail on the head for me, or the pig on the back of the neck. It’s so nasty and so matter-of-course that just thinking about it makes me feel quite ill and I, with my recently purchased chopped meat, would prefer having my pig alive and whole again. After all, I’m not a murderer!
