Shape-Shifting Pin Table

Dynamic Estate Scale Model, Map Generation Device

Pin Table is a reconfigurable motorized pin-array that turns urban data into tangible topographies. Inspired by the digital age’s surge in hardware–software data visualization, the concept is realised as an original, engineered system. It converts spatial, temporal and programmatic datasets into intuitive physical models, enabling planners, educators and communities to prototype, compare and communicate scenarios. By combining motorized pins, projection mapping and a low-barrier interface, Pin-Table makes urban analytics immediately legible and usable for collaborative planning, participatory engagement and faster, evidence-based decisions.
