TactileLink

Tactile graphic education platform for the Blind

TactileLink empowers visually impaired students by enhancing interaction with raised-line graphics through auditory cues. Addressing the challenge of group learning settings where one instructor supports multiple students, TactileLink leverages sonification to provide responsive feedback through customizable touch areas on a tablet screen. Unlike existing solutions focused on 1 on 1 assistance, TactileLink scales to benefit both educators and students in group and remote learning contexts. Its integration of low-cost 3D-printed frames and software ensures that this solution is sustainable, and supportive of inclusive education principles.
