TRUMPF Touchpoint

Human machine interface

Trumpf GmbH & Co. KG

"Touchpoint" is an interface for operating TRUMPF machines. The design is derived from the unique TRUMPF machine design to generate a holistic product experience. The interface is universally applicable to the requirements of each machine type and works on the machine panels as well as on mobile devices. Input is intuitive, efficient and always right where it is needed. With gestures, which have become known through smartphones and tablets, heavy machine tools can be controlled: two-finger taps offer direct help and a simple swipe gesture gives the operator required information when irregularities occur.
