ZUGI: Embedding cultures into UX Design

Interface design

Globalization and digitalization require intercultural design that supports people wherever they are. For example, when using a ticket vending machine at an international railway station. Here, users want to select tickets on interfaces that they can understand. The design requires comprehensive research to create the necessary parameters for successful human-machine interaction. In her master's thesis, Sanghee Park extends the Double Diamond model and, together with users in South Korea and Germany, designs an easy-to-understand and practical interface for ticket vending machines.
