When the 2G network sunsets in December 2025, 700,000 Verisure customers in Sweden and Norway will lose their alarm protection. The Central Unit (CU), the brain of their system, must be replaced. Traditionally installed by professionals, we redesigned the experience so customers can replace it themselves, confidently and safely. Through intuitive design and guidance, we aimed to turn users into expert installers, installing a system that is historically only installed by certified installers. This project solves a critical business and design challenge at scale, empowering customers and redefining what a professional installation can mean.
