Citizen Judges Court - Service Design

Citizen Judges Court Service Design

Taiwan Design Research Institute

Citizen Judge Court Space Design utilized user research to assess stakeholder (citizens, judges, prosecutors, and lawyers) needs and co-created with system decision-makers to bring the judicial system and citizens a brand-new communication experience, achieving a breakthrough from the issue of the rigidity of judicial members. The transformation of judicial service and site image allows the judicial system to welcome citizen participation in a more open and transparent manner, achieving the original objective of judicial reform. This project proposed a design guideline, which offers a modular design that can be applied to other local courts.
