Philips owns, implements, manages, and maintains the system while customers pay for access. This offering was developed by an internal venture team and transforms Philips from a product seller to a service provider. Securing and delivering an alpha first of kind customer required developing new processes, IT system, and frontline roles that are now being leveraged by other Philips businesses.
