Mountain bike

Decathlon

This mountain bike’s main asset is its N.E.U.F. suspension system: the central axis of the suspension is mounted on bearings on an eccentric angle. When the suspension comes into action (and is compressed), the (virtual) pivot point is no longer fixed, but mobile. The suspension and transmission are completely independent! The pumping effect is finally erased: with the N.E.U.F, the effort exerted on the pedals no longer influences the suspension. The specific design of the linking parts is explained by the primary objective of achieving a frame of exemplary lateral rigidity to guarantee accurate trajectories and support. For example, the rear bar and the flat seat stays help ensure that the rear triangle keeps its shape despite the many bumps encountered on an uneven track.
