Cuisine environment

A new architectural project combining a shop, factory, and office for "Shiruko-Sand", one of Aichi Prefecture's soul foods. ( "Shiruko-Sand" means “red bean paste sandwich” in Japanese.) With “Japanese-Western eclectic” as the design theme, we created a comfortable space by blending a sense of nostalgia reminiscent of the Showa era with a Scandinavian-inspired building.The space is also sprinkled with elements of Japan's unique four seasons. The architectural design draws inspiration from the playful arrangement of colorful Nordic buildings, with structures of varying sizes and texture layered together to evoke the concept of “sandwiching.”
