Concept for a new perception of music

“The future begins with a vision of how things might be.” The aim of the project is not to rework existing things but to discover something new and simultaneously match the opportunities opened up by communication and technology with people’s needs. In this modern world of transient values it is important to create awareness about concepts and ideas. The SOMA concept offers the user the option of seeing the music being heard. It is the birth of a new perception of music by all the senses – as a counterweight to “musical fast food” and “mp3 downloads”. In terms of conception it is an innovative implementation of augmented reality in the area of entertainment/music, describing new approaches to the interaction between listener/music, image/sound and space/acoustics. The software looks for the behavioural pattern of the user and creates a new musical experience. The body becomes part of the navigation system.
