ZEN SUSHI Restaurant

Restaurant

Zen Sushi was the first Japanese restaurant in Italy to offer the Kaiten, the conveyor belt to serve fresh sushi on colored saucers indicating prices. On the tenth anniversary the property wanted to give the restaurant a new look. The design challenge was to create a space with a truly Japanese essence in a contemporary way and to built it in during summer holidays. Due to a simple project strategy focused on a few elements that strongly characterize the space the restaurant gains a strong truly Japanese and contemporary image, inspired by Fushimi Inari Temples, with comfortable lights and seeting where people are happy to stay – built in five weeks.
