It is a deli shop with a shared kitchen a long-established caterer has opened. In recent years, with lifestyle changes, opportunities to cook or eat authentic Japanese food have decreased. Therefore, they planned a place to provide delis and teach the knowledge of cuisine, aiming to gain customers for catering simultaneously. The shared kitchen was placed next to the deli area not only to promote mutual use but also to represent them as a comprehensive ambassador of Japanese cuisine. We applied traditional plans and materials with modern details to express their classical yet innovative character.
