SETOUCHIJOZOJO – Winery, Restaurant, and Shop

Winery and Restaurant Architecture

“SETOUCHI JOZOJO” is a winery and restaurant designed to reactivate local industries and culture by reconnecting food, culture and beautiful landscapes. The project replaces an abandoned shipyard facing the Setouchi-sea and helps one connect to the surrounding landscape. Human-centric design is evident in the building operations, including tours of the wine production facility, café use, and rental space. The project’s influence reaches beyond the site to connect several local wine regions and industries by featuring a variety of select wines and cuisine to create a “micro-public network” tied to local identity.
