This is a design for a sushi restaurant run privately by a sushi chef. To embody his warm personality, we focused on the materials and created a space that gently envelops the guests. Creating a space that makes use of a variety of materials is also common to making sushi, where handiwork brings out the best of the ingredients. Originally designed products such as the fan-shaped counter made of ginkgo and padouk, three-legged chairs made of solid cypress, and handmade Japanese paper that evokes the wavering of water create a unique world view. The space, where you can feel the handiwork everywhere, will bring a special experience to guests.
